1. Acceptance

By downloading or using Insect Identifier, you agree to these Terms and the applicable Apple App Store or Google Play terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Informational identification only

Results are visual AI assessments for educational and informational use. They are not guaranteed species confirmation, medical diagnosis, bite or sting attribution, a licensed infestation inspection, or professional pesticide advice.

Do not handle an unknown spider, stinging insect, or potentially harmful organism. Do not mix pesticides, use a product off-label, or rely on the app to decide whether symptoms need care. Contact emergency services or a qualified medical professional for severe or rapidly worsening symptoms, and use a licensed pest professional when an infestation or structural risk may be present.

3. Your photos and lawful use

You retain your rights in photos you submit. You grant us the limited permission needed to transmit and process them to provide the requested identification. You must have the right to use submitted content and must not use the app for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or deceptive purposes.

4. Subscriptions and purchases

Premium subscriptions and scan credits are offered through your app store account. Prices, trial eligibility, billing periods, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are governed by the terms shown at purchase and the applicable store. Subscriptions renew unless canceled through your store settings before the renewal date.

5. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service accurate and available, but models, features, limits, and service providers may change. Network failures, maintenance, unsupported devices, or third-party outages may temporarily prevent analysis.

6. Disclaimer and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” without warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. Glipo is not liable for decisions, damage, injury, loss, exposure, treatment, or pest-control outcomes based on an AI result. Rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.

7. Suspension and termination

We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users, prevent abuse, comply with law, or secure the service. You may stop using the app at any time. Store subscription cancellation is separate from deleting the app.
